The standard answer would be so that you don’t get hurt, right?
I just don’t get it.
We’re conditioned to think that it isn’t right to believe in fairy tales so that we can accept “reality”.
We’re told to not dream big and expect so much of people because it’s rare and impossible nowadays that the movie-kind of love exists. We should believe that nothing happens in the grand way anymore because it just doesn’t.
But I do believe. I really do and I don’t see why everyone else can’t.
Or why people can’t meet other people’s expectations anymore.
Why should we settle because supposedly reality isn’t as pleasant as we know it to be? If that’s so why do I see people making each other’s dreams come true?
What happened to the world. Why is it so confusing and not romantic anymore?
